And during this time I decided to go off grid into nature for 3 days, no food, no phone.

Before I shut my phone off, I posted a video and thought nothing of it.

When I got back, I checked my phone to 30k followers and my notifications were more active than ever.

I was quite shocked.

But it makes so much sense when I look back on it:

The key to growing your coaching business sustainably is to mix the inner work you're already doing with proven content principles to be seen by more people who can actually use your gifts.

I know, I know.

It sounds obvious.

And I can hear your objections already:

“Wow, Nick, post content and go viral, I've never heard of that one before!”

I get it.

That doesn't sound like new advice.

Here's the difference though:

99% of viral content advice fits into one of 4 categories:

• ✕ It ONLY goes viral and doesn't find you clients
• ✕ It requires you to sell your soul and suppress your unique gifts in order to get clients or followers (so you sound like everyone else)
• ✕ It only focuses on the strategy and doesn't take energetics/personality into the equation
• ✕ It doesn't work at all and doesn't even help you go viral LOL

It's not designed to get you lasting, long-term results because it's focused on one thing:

The strategy of getting you seen by more people.

Not a unique, tailored approach to get you seen by more of the right people.

Because who cares if you get millions of views but nobody wants to learn more about what you do?

This style of content creation is a never-ending hamster wheel of tactic hunting because it focuses on what the “algorithm” wants (whatever that means).

Not what the person who can really use your unique gifts wants and needs (which actually gets you paid).

This is why most content gurus are pushing AI slop right now: it's cool, it's hip, it's trendy.

It won't actually help you though.

And then these content “gurus” will position themselves as the solution to the problem THEY prescribed you because it didn't work.

Lol.

There is another group of people trying to help you out: they target health and wellness coaches, healers and inner work entrepreneurs.

And while it is a step up, it is also missing the point.

The issue is almost all of them are either general business coaches or focus solely on the inner work.

And while those things can be helpful, they lack one key thing:

Knowing how to create content that both:

• ✓ Gets the people in your audience to care about what you do
• ✓ Finds new people who desperately need your services

Because without finding leads you don't have a business.

And that can't happen unless you create an audience of fans who buy into you and your vision.

I know this works because it hasn't just worked for me with my breathwork app.
